Turned By Virna DePaul

Turned is a hot mix of action, paranormal and romance. The first novel in the new Belladonna Agency Series introduces us to an unwillingly turned Ty Duncan who is enlisted to recruit ex-gang member Ana Martin to get Ty inside an organization that Belladonna thinks is trafficking in human blood and may have information that Belladonna needs. Can these two damaged souls come together and learn to trust one another against a greater enemy than they could have imagined? With enemies all around, can you trust a vampire to watch your back without eating you in the process?

More than action or paranormal, Turned combines the genres with a handsome, yet damaged hero who struggles to find the best in himself and the monster he thinks he is. Ana has been hurt in every way possible, yet throughout the book Ty struggles to be the vampire Ana needs and recover pieces of his humanity that he thought he lost. The journey of two damaged people struggling to save each other and innocent life without loosing themselves is captivating. Virna had my attention from page one and didn't stop at the end of the book. This is the only the beginning of an fantastic series I can't wait to devour. The characters and the story is magnificent and I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the team.

Turned was one of the best books I've read in a long time and I give it 5 blood bags!

Turned is scheduled to be release April 1st, stop on over to Amazon and preorder your copy today. Meet the author of Forgive Us Our Trespasses, M.L. Steinbrunn:

Colorado native M.L. Steinbrunn is new to the professional literary community, but has been in love with the world of fictional characters and plot twists since she was a child. Writing short stories and reading anything she could get her hands on, it could be argued that her hobby borders on an obsession. She works full-time as a middle school and high school educator and coach in rural Colorado where she and her husband are raising their three young children. Through education she has enjoyed guiding others on their paths and helping students build their stories. After countless evenings of discussing story ideas, it was her husband who encouraged her to follow her own path and publish her first novel. She is currently working on her debut romance novel Forgive Us Our Trespasses, which is will be released in March of 2014. It will be the first in a series of intertwined stand-alone novels. In her free time M.L. enjoys travelling, Amazon one-clicking, watching movies, chauffeuring her children to their one and half million activities, and people watching. She would like to add a big thank you to everyone that has been overwhelmingly supportive of this incredibly scary yet exciting journey. Where to find me…

Lasting Attraction by Ashley Beale

Kynki Sista

If you have been following the Cassie Series then you have been waiting to see how this story will end. If you haven't read the rest of the series, why the hell not?! Lasting Attraction, much like the other books in the series will hook you from beginning to end. Cassandra McKnight finally has to choose between the two men in her life. Pierce Danielson is the slightly older, sexy, ex-fighter turned CEO who will do anything to show Cassie how much he loves her. There connection is made of pure, raw passion and is very hard to resist. Avery Manning is the tattooed, motorcycle riding, semi-pro fighter who has loved Cassie since they were kids. The connection between these two is unbreakable. Cassie loves each man in a different way but now she has to choose one. Cassie and Pierce are determined to make their relationship work but will they be able to survive once Avery returns from his fighting tour? Avery is determined to fight for the woman he loves...the one woman he's always loved. Will everything that's happened the past two years stop him from re-claiming his angle? Cassie has been holding onto this secret for the past few months and its tearing her up. Now that Avery is home and has discovered it what is she going to do? Will this be the thing to hold her and Pierce together or is this secret going to drive her into Avery's arms? Will it be Avery? Will it be Pierce? The way that Ashley Beale writes is unbelievably realistic. I feel as if this could actually take place, hell i think i may have lived this story! This trio goes on many ups and downs and will take your emotions on a roller coaster. A must read book!

Excerpt
We have so much to discuss and I'm scared. I'm terrified. I'm not sure how to start the conversation. I'm not sure I want to start the conversation. There is so much to discuss, so much more than he realizes. Than anyone realizes. Well, ready or not. I close the door behind me and make my way towards the coffee pot. Once that is brewing and the aroma makes its way around the kitchen, I make my way into my bedroom to dispose of yesterday's clothing and throw on some sweats. I don't think it's appropriate for me to wear normal clothing attire right now, or anything remotely attractive. I'm pretty sure this week I'll be wearing a lot of loose fit clothes, so he doesn't have to be tempted by me in any way. Let's just hope he is wearing clothes, so I won't be tempted by him. I will not give into temptation with him. I will not. I cannot. I won't. There is too much to lose. There is too much to discuss. There has been too much put between us.

LipSmackin’ GoodBooks Interview with the author of the highly anticipated Interview with a Master, Mr. Jason Luke…

Interview Date, 2/7: 3 hours after Mr. Luke clicked Publish on Amazon... An hour later the world would never be the same

Hey, Jason. Good morning to you from my evening. *Smiles*
I’m Kimber, but most people call me Kimmi, either is fine, I’ll answer to almost anything, lol. First, I know that today is a HUGE day for you. Congratulations and Happy release day!!!! Secondly, I want to thank you so very much for taking time out of your busy schedule to do this telephone interview with me. Before we get started though, I just want to give you a heads up, or slight warning in advance… I may, hopefully I will not, however there is a strong probability that, I may go fan girl on you. If I do, it will occur somewhere around the middle of the interview, around the time I lose my cool but have not yet become comfortable enough to regain my composure. Like I said, just a heads up, lol the best thing to do is ignore me, I’ll get past it eventually, or at least that’s what I’m hoping for.

This is how we’ll roll with the questions, the first few questions are just common, semi generic questions, just to get to know you and scratch past the surface. Then I have some questions that came to me while I was devouring and chain smoking, reading Interview with a Master just as fast as I could until three am.
Now… (and of course) this around the time I could possibly begin with my silly fan girl phase. The last few questions are just fun, easy questions, a quick Q&A.

Okay, so… strictly for professional purposes, I’m going to have some wine, lol. I’m hoping this will help us avoid the whole fan girl thing, is it early morning there? You have a cuppa or a coffee, or wine, you may be a day drinker like me, so I won’t judge, and let’s do this damn thing!
*Cheesy grins*
~Which scene was the hardest for you to write?

  • The last five pages of Interview with a master took the most time and the most effort. It seemed like the more I wrote the worse the story became. Ultimately the hardest work was cutting through all the unnecessary information to keep the scenes raw and emotional.

~Favorite Book & Favorite Author?

  • I don’t have a favourite book, and I don’t have a favourite author. Generally I like reading action books and I really enjoy reading some of the great authors of the genre who were successful in the 1960’s and 70’s

Okay… So if I go fan girl, It’ll happen during these next few questions. Be prepared for wide eyes full of wonder, lol.
~So that I don’t completely botch this entire interview up, please… sound out Leticia.

  • Leticia

~Awesome, now I can ask this question without sounding like a dumb ass… What were the superficial, immature questions Leticia asked Jonah at the beginning of Interview with a Master?

  • The same ones you have asked me at the beginning of this interview (Joking!)  Generally, if I know Jonah, he would be annoyed if Leticia asked him the sort of questions that she could easily get the answers from elsewhere. Jonah wouldn’t enjoy telling people what they could find out from 5 minutes of research he would see that as a waste of his time, and a lack of their professionalism.

~Does your character Jonah’s belief or theory of the average married male derive from your own beliefs?

  • A lot of what Jonah says, does, remembers, and believes is based on me.

~So... You pace?

  • (Laughs) I do pace.

~When you began writing ‘Interview’ what were you hoping to accomplish?

  •  I wanted to entertain the readers. I wanted people to turn the last page and feel as though they had been taken on a journey that engaged them emotionally. That was my simple intent.

~How long did ‘Interview’ crawl around in your head before you sat down and began to write or type your outline?

  • One day.

~Once the first letter of ‘Interview was typed how long did it take before you typed the words “The End”?

  • 3 weeks. In actual fact I think it was 18 days because at one point I had to travel for 3 days to deal with a family matter.

~Did the major course of ‘Interview’ ever get derailed from you original outline or planned ending?

  • I had no outline before I started to write. I had a rough idea about the scene in Leticia’s bedroom when Jonah is waiting for her when she comes home, and I had the ending. The book was always going to end the way it did. Everything else that happened in between was inspired.

~Do you tend to give yourself an allotted amount of time or words to write on writing days, or do you just follow the voices and stop when they stop?

  • Ideally I would normally try to do maybe 1000 or 2000 words a day. But when I wrote Interview there was several days were I wrote up to 6000 words.

~Who in your life can be thanked for being the beginning domino or key factor with you writing ‘Interview’?

  • My girlfriend.

~Cold beer with ice crystals, tumbler of liquor over cubes of ice, or a glass of wine?

  • Tumbler of liquor.

~Beach Vacay or Snowy capped mountain lodge?

  • Beach. We don’t see a lot of snow here is Australia.

Now… Here it comes, the question EVERYONE is going to BEG to know by Sunday night: Exclusives! That’s what I want! Please, for the love of GOD tell me there will be a second, third, fourth, shit tenth book!!!!

  • I'm not sure at this time if there will be a second book, I can see the direction I would take the second book in if I were to write it. However without knowing the response Interview with a Master will receive I can't confirm yes or no at this time.

Jason, Thank you so much, SO VERY much for this opportunity! I am a huge fan of yours, and will pimp, promote, and beg for advanced review copies from any and every book you publish! I’m am super excited for you and all the great and wonderful places that ‘Interview’ is going to take you professionally. I am sincerely honored and humbled to get this rare chance to both interview and speak to you over the phone!
Uh ohhh… Here she is…. FAN GIRL…
I honestly feel like I’m getting to experience the sliver of your before, because after Interview with a Master hits Amazon, you’ll be in your after. And Jason Luke, you sir, are about to be a fucking star! I don’t know if you realized it, but you’ve just taken the literary world and turned it on it’s ass, and after Saturday it will NEVER be the same =)

Hope Restrained by M.S. Willis

Review by Kimmi:

And she does it again
*Bows before M.S. Willis*
Hope Restrained was a beautiful story of two fighters, each fighting for opposing sides of a war they have been prisoners of all their life. One fighter filled not only with light, but with loyalty to a brother with whom he doesn't share the same blood. The other fighter filled with darkness and shadows, willing to fight to the bitter death to save her only family left, her identical twin sister...
Like both previous books in this series, Hope Restrained consists of mind twisting fucked up-ness, it is dark, horrific, sick and perverted. But the beautiful parts, the parts filled with blooming love and a growing recognition of the other half of each other, were so exquisitly written that it almost made up for the ugliness the reader has to be dragged through, page after page by the author.

M.S. Willis... My queen, please, please forgive my ignorance. For I know it may seem that I am at fault for not believing in your utter exquisitely masterful ability to keep your readers attention in not only the first two books, but THE THIRD BOOK AS WELL?!?!?!? As I said Ms. Willis, please excuse my lack of intelligence. It has been, I fucking shit you not, YEARS, since a series has not only maintained my attention but kept me hungry, story after story and delivered EVERY damn story with the expertise precision that you've yet again knocked my ass into sub stance with. *Slow claps*... Now, what corner do you want me to stand on in order to pay my dues and get to beta read Honor Bound?

I've read every book in The Estate Series by M.S. Willis, I did it ALL bass-ackwards but it didn't matter, this series is still one of a kind. And Hope Restrained was another beautifully tarnished jewel to set in this crown of Monarchy proportions.
I started reading this series with Joseph Fallen (Purchase links at bottom of post)
I was worried when I learned that this was released after Madeliene Abducted, however I was already at the halfway point in the book, and well... There was just no fucking turning back for me dammit.
Kimmi's Review of Joseph Fallen
The excellent news is, reading Joseph Fallen first was the perfect way for me to read this series. It is a prequeal to Madeliene Abducted...
And holy mother of God!!! I loved Madeliene Abducted!
Madeliene Abducted is the story of Joseph and Arianna's son, Aaron. Aaron and his father have been locked in a stealthy little game of Pravum ipsum of chess for as long as Aaron can remember. And when Joesph notices his son's peaked interest in a certain little cellist he decides she'll make the perfect pawn... One he will delightfully enjoy to deliver his ultimate Checkmate.

Interview with a Master by Jason Luke

Review by Kimmi:
OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY, FREAKING WTF WAS THAT?!?!?!!!!!? Umm... Oh, you know, nothing more than THE BEST FUCKING BOOK I'll read, no... not the best book I'll read THIS YEAR, the best fucking book I have, or EVER WILL read, period.
Great Expectations... or as Jonah would describe it, Anticipation.
I was almost physically trembling in sweet, sharp anticipation for Jonah Noble's story. Having only read the first few chapters released to certain bloggers and street team members I knew immediately how intensely high Jason Luke had set the bar... And just from reading that sliver of Interview with a Master, getting nothing more than a single taste, I resolved that the book world was set in the direct path of a beautiful collision course with an ingenious, utterly captivating story unequivalent to anything readers have not only yearned but unknowingly begged for since Mr. Grey's story. This subject, at least in my opinion, can only be delivered with the exquisite justice it deserves by a masculine, dominant person. I've witnessed plenty of failed attempts to accomplish this feat... Interview with a Master not only conquers but executes an astounding performance that is audaciously original.
My poor inner smut whore who has been pitifully neglected had all but sadly withered away... However somewhere in chapter three she reared her little head with a salacious grin and within pages she was screaming out, riding the literary waves of orgasmic éclat and utter brilliance this author reveals page after page. My great expectations were more than seemingly met, Jason Luke didn't just deliver, the fucking bases were loaded, he swung for the fences on a sinking pitch that many before him had attempted, yet devastatingly failed... Jason Luke swung and ladies, my fellow smut whores, I elatedly announce that he knocked the fucking ball out of the park! Jason Luke flawlessly orchestrates an exposition with the provocative precision of a skilled, seasoned author. His composition conducted through a confident, domineering, and proficient Master known as *shudders* Jonah Noble.
Oh, Jonah... Please, pleeease, I beg of you Master, let me be your Claire, your Sherry, your Caroline... Anyone. Just allow me a moment in time, a snippet of a chapter in my life being nothing more than Jonah Noble's fortunate submissive. Interview with a Master nabs 5-I've been waiting for you since Mr. Grey and you've left me questioning who the hell he was in the first place-LipSmackin' Kisses-Stars
February 8th ladies, set your alarms for Saturday, stick post it notes where ever you can, and for the love of God, make sure you are stocked in the AA department. Trust me... your vagina will thank me *winks*
Now... Fucking ask me the song that flooded the last few pages while I read until three am...
Oh, yes it did *smirks*
Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name...
Ah, what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game...

Cover Reveal of Her Master's Courtesan by Lily White

Her Master's Courtesan By Lily White
Book Description:
I am a Master. You must know this fact to understand my story. I capture women. I break them down. And I rebuild them. If they are lucky, they are sold into the professional hands of another Master. If they are less fortunate, they are buried beneath the ground, never to be thought of again. I lust for the control, I demand absolute submission and my body yearns to warp the minds of those I train. Power is the only thing I’ll ever need and I am addicted to the feeling of ultimate control. I am wealthy, good-looking, educated and charming. And I am - in no way - a good man. I do not want love. I do not want kindness. She thought she could change me by giving me the two things I knew I never wanted. She was wrong.
