You can take everything that has ever happened to you and bottle it up.  You can stuff it way down deep in the depths of your soul but eventually, it will come to the surface. Sometimes in bits in pieces, others a full-fledged avalanche that comes rolling down. As much as your want to be in control of your life and map out exactly where you want to be in your 5 year plan, things have a funny way of working out. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.....right? Love or lust can make us a little jaded, cautious, and shit.... guarded if you will, because your heart tends to be the thing you protect once it's been shattered.  You pick up the pieces and glue it back together but those cracks are a reminder of the life you left behind.  The pain and anguish you had to overcome to get to the here and now.  People come into your life for a reason, a season, and a lifetime, it may just take a while to figure out what category they fit into. 

       Angela

Angela has been broken and put back together, she isn't the quiet, small town Southern girl anymore.  She up and left her hometown and made a life for herself that she never in her wildest dreamed imagined as stripper no less.  She started from the ground up and made her own destiny.  She now owns her own 5 star club in a “man’s industry” and it is the most respectable one in town. It's the most profitable one too no less, which “in an industry saturated with chauvinistic pricks” can cause a lot of hatred.
She convinced her heart she didn't need love or a man, especially, to be genuinely happy.  She was over that shit. Gone. Poof. Left behind for some other poor soul to gobble up. She was categorized as a “certified, hard-nosed bitch”, but like I said you can push your pain, hurt, and sorrow down and all it takes is one look into the eyes of the beholder of your pain that brings everything to the fore front.  Ang has to decide if she is truly over her first and only love who has spontaneously after 5 years popped back into her life or if is she is ready to invest in a new opportunity for love that has been trying forever to get her to want him or at least be interested in him.

   Dean

Dean is one sexy Mofo. He is hot! All the girls want him and most of them at the club have probably had him. You know the stereo typical love ‘em and leave 'em and never get close to a REAL relationship. “This guy might have snared the title of first runner up for the throne of prickish and dickish”, or is that all it is gossip?  Dean had been coming on to Ang for 2 years and one night he finally decides to make his move. He is fine as hell and so she decides WTH why not?  I could use some “good loving, body rocking, knocking boots all night long….Ooh my bad, lol that song just popped in my head and it describes what she needs to a T.  So anyways, as they make it back to her place…Oh Snap!! Ang has a houseguest. Ahem…her Ex..Say What….but Dean doesn’t run he decides to see what this is all about.  You see Dean has also been broken and had his heart shattered into a million pieces.  It seems cupid keeps missing and these two have suffered more from love than benefited from it.  Even though they are wildly attracted to each other and it feels so right, with all the other drama in each of their lives is it even worth exploring? While Angela and Dean fight the love they so desperately want, they are holding onto their pasts.  Will they be able to be happy whether it be together or apart?

Erotic Midnight Musings Vol 2: Pleasure by Mark Davis

To say Mark Davis has done it AGAIN is an epic understatement.  In EMM volume 1: Domination his words made my knees buckle and my skin flush. In his second volume: Pleasure, of Erotic Midnight Musings Mark Davis's words evoke hot and steamy sensual feelings that will both steal your breath away and also leave you thinking "Oh MY SHIT! I just fell ass over teakettle in love with this poet", lol.

Christ in a cracker I loved♥♥LOVED♥♥ EMM 2!! Somewhere between 'Her Phone...' and 'Good Girl' I realized "Oooh, OH... this IS different..." See, I almost hesitated on this 'Buy now w/ 1 click' because his first anthology or collection of erotic poetry was so, SOOOO, gahhhh I can't even think of the word! EROTIC!! Seems fitting ;) And if I already have one collection of erotic poems, surely I don't need two. Well thank the Aphrodite goddess I got over my hesitant hand hover and did '1 click' and, and, and damn! HOT DAMN I am SO glad I did.

We all know these EMM Volume describing words separately, we know their definitions and we know the desires and sexual thoughts they elicit. However, when laid out side by side and compared through this poets words, that's when YOU REALLY get it, the light bulb goes off, the understanding dawns. Both words Domination and Pleasure are affiliated or associated with sex, but once I finished volume 2 I understood what Mark Davis was showing or explaining between the stanzas and pages. This is apples and oranges baby. While Domination is sexy as hell and leaves you hot, aching and needy, Pleasure.... *sighs* is pleasurable,  it's beautiful, it's sexy beautiful, erotically beautiful, sinfully beautiful, it's pleasing, it's just ~beautiful.

So in simple terms yes, Mark Davis HAS done it again, however when the reviewer in me scratched the surface and not only read this poets words, but listened to what this century's erogenous and risqué Poe was saying, what I saw under the surface  proved to me that Mark Davis has not only done it again..... but just hands down proved he is HERE to stay. These poems go so damn beyond "Roses are red, and silky is lace", they are moving and awakening. These poems arouse the imagination to new and unknown beautifully pleasing heights.

Holy cheese and crackers I loved that story! It's a little bit of Pretty Woman, with a sexy amount of Dirty Dancing, all mixed together perfectly with Cinderella. It's a classic fairytale of a woman's journey from a hard knocks life to a lifestyle of the rich, wealthy, and famous. But honey this ain't Annie, lol. And I also don't remember any hot as hell, steamy romps between Charming and Cinderella happening in the back of the carriage either. WHEW! This book was smoking! I won't lie....at one point I just said "Screw it, I need a cigarette after that, shiiiiat that was HAWT!" 

Grey has spent her entire childhood and teenage years abiding by her fathers strict and inflexible rules. Her father is the towns preacher and has always kept Grey on a tight leash. When we meet Grey she is begging her Daddy to allow her to sign up for ballet, however he thinks it is immoral and refuses his daughter.  When the peace keeper of the family Grey's Mom steps in and gently urges him to see things in a different light, he concedes and grants Grey her wish, to be in freaking BALLET! AT THE AGE 18! Sorry, but I just couldn't wrap my head around that, however I did grow up to become a self proclaimed smut whore and I'm damn proud of it, so that's probably not saying much, lol.
When the Amundsen's have tragedy tear their world apart Grey comes to the decision that she can't stay in this town for the rest of her life, she doesn't want to end up like her mom, married to a preacher and devoting her life to the church, at church all day long every Sunday, never missing a Wednesday night and heading up the Thursday night women's Bible study group. That's not Grey, that's not the life she wants to lead.  She wants to spread her wings and fly, REALLY LIVE. So with nothing left in Macon to hold her there she leaves, heads for the west coast, she has a USC scholarship and lands in LA to starts working toward her dreams of being behind the camera, producing or directing. Without anytime for friends and a grueling schedule every semester Grey throws herself into her new life head first. And she's doing it! Things are beginning to happen! With excellent grades and  half way through her sophomore year Grey gets the opportunity to intern at a prestigious studio that has the revamped version of Gone with the Wind in the works. She is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, all her hard work is paying off. At least until she gets a message that she has a meeting with the financial advisers of USC, and she knows, whatever this is, it can't be good and she's right. Her scholarship funds have dwindled to almost nothing, and she only has 30 bucks to her name.  She hits the job search as hard as she can, but with no experience and the lack of jobs she hits roadblock after roadblock, and receives a solid No around every corner. On her way back from another empty job search she sees a Gentleman's Club advertising "Help Wanted" but she can't do that, she is a preacher's daughter,  a good girl, hell she has hardly ever even kissed a guy how can she strip for a room full of them? No she is a ballet dancer, NOT an exotic dancer. Nuh huh, not no but hell no, never.

Never, ever say Never.  If Grey wants this dream, the dream she can almost taste it's so close this is her only option.  Or she can go back to Macon, Georgia with her tail tucked. But she ain't going back to Macon. She has made her decision. So on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, she becomes Gracie, the stripper with daisy dukes and a Georgia twang. And she feels her self dying a little bit, losing a piece of her soul every time she steps off that stage. This is what she is, who she is now, a stripper, a woman that bares her body to men for money.

When Dawson Kellor, the most famous and sought after actor in Hollywood, requests her to the VIP room her life is irrevocably forever changed. The minute Grey's eyes lock with Dawson's she knows he can see straight to her soul, he doesn't see Gracie, he sees Grey. And it scares the living hell out of her. Once she finally gets over the initial shock of not only his presence but the effect he has on her she slips her mask back on and becomes Gracie. All for about one hot damn minute, and Dawson is yanking that mask right back off and forcing Grey to face him, dance with him, let him touch her, not Gracie, no.....he's touching Grey. And he's not onlytouching her skin, he is marking her and making her feel things she hasn't ever experienced.

The next day when she comes rushing in to a meeting a little late, not looking up to see the faces at the table, she takes her seat and her boss makes the last introduction, the actor that is the Male lead character, and the person that Grey will work closely with during the production of  Gone with the Wind, Rhett Butler will be played by none other than Dawson Kellor, hearing his name her head snaps up and as soon as her body catches up to her mind she bolts from the meeting. Holy Shit, this cannot be happening.....

Oh but baby girl it is, and Dawson isn't used to hearing the word no, in fact he doesn't even know what it means, and Grey can keep on saying "No." but he doesn't hear it, because her body is telling him something entirely different. He will possess and protect this innocent sensual woman, he will pull out every trick in his bag, he'll stop at nothing to learn and know this enigmatic woman.

Oh me, oh my!!!! Jasinda girl you created the perfect story with absolutely fantastic character's. I was so excited about this book that the anticipation almost killed me! So much so that I was down right giddy to get my hands on this story. And girlfriend you did NOT let me down.  It was everything I wanted it to be and so much MORE!!!! Stripped grabs up 5-Hella Yeah, who doesn't want a Cinderella story with stripping in it?- Kimmi stars ★★★★★

Beyond Pain by Kit Rocha

The Beyond Series is unlike any series you will ever come across.  It's rawness, grittiness is unparalleled on a  fundamental level. It's post apocalyptic stage sets the scene for some of the best shady, dark, and mindfucking storytelling. The most accurate description I can use to depict this series is The Hunger Games on crystal meth, with a fifth of rot gut Everclear to help swallow the handful of ecstasy tabs, seriously...... this shit will have you tripping that effing hard! And before you finish chapter 1 in book 1, Beyond Shame, and look around and realize you've just stepped into the craziest madhouse in literal history, you don't, you won't even bat another eye lash, you smear that bat shit crazy all over yourself, hope you fit in with the locals and never look back, lol.

Sheesus Christ I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I wrote a review for book 1, Beyond Shame then continued on my reading way to book 2 Beyond Control.  And you know nine times out of ten book 1 of the series is so damn good it feels like a hail Mary finger tip catch by the wide receiver in the 4th quarter with 0 seconds left on the clock for your 0 & 4 home team. And book 2 just kinda always steps up short and fumbles the catch. Yeah, lmao..... ahhhh not this series, no bitch this ain't that series.  My review for Beyond Shame was so ummmm, profanity laden with my Tourette's showing between every word that I had nothing left, I was spent, literally spent after book 2 Beyond Control.  Beyond Control left me speechless. And that shit ladies, NEVER happens! So when I finally got my grimy (hell yeah I still have bat shit crazy smeared all over me from reading Beyond Shame and Control) hands on book three Beyond Pain I went tearing off into it like a freaking mad woman and awwwww hell, I'll be damned if these authors didn't go off and do it again!! DELIVERED. Delivered with perfect precision even if they wielded a rusty, dirty hack saw to do it.

Six, ahhhh how do I explain Six..... Okay, Six is, for the lack of better words, she's fucked up.  She's been through all nine levels of Dante's hell and she's lived to talk about it.  But she doesn't, because she's still fighting.  She doesn't know who she's fighting, or why, but that doesn't stop her from fighting.  Even though Six is now in Dallas O'Kanes sector and under his protection Six is still poised to strike, still has EVERY line of defense up and ready. And trust is something that died long ago for Six. However that's all this sector, this family asks of her, and of course it is. It's the only thing she doesn't have left to give......

Bren is a man, shit, man is an understatement, Bren is a beast, a cool, and fiercely controlled dominant, fine as hell, sexy ass beast. He doesn't know his past, he doesn't know where he comes from. He does know that he is a weapon, a killing machine. He also knows that little, hard as nails Six has softened up a piece of him he never knew he had, his soul, his heart. And he'd give just about anything to get her to soften up towards him, let him hold her hand, guide her out of her own self imposed fighting cage. Bren wants to show Six that it's ok to let your guard down, let the hate and fear go, and let your freak off its leash........

Bren and Six come together like a motherfucking forth of July fireworks show and the finale is a damn atomic bomb. They don't love soft and sweet, they fuck hard and rough, they shove and bite, they pull and yank. And dear Lord baby Jesus IT'S HOT!!!!!
WHEW! I loved Beyond Pain, I loved it so much I want to move in with it, bath in it, soak in it. I want it back. I want to unread it so I can re read it, and hell yes I'm freaking crazy as hell! I seriously hoped you'd figured that shit out by now tho ;p

Seize Me by Crystal Spears

Well that sure wasn't what the hell I thought I was going to get!!!!! By the time I was half way through chapter 3 I had stopped  reading mid sentence and just stared at my kindle and said "fuuuuuuck." five times....... before chapter 4!!!!!
I can't believe these words are about to be typed across my keyboard because if you know me you know Madeline Sheehan's Undeniable is MY ALL TIME FAV, but here they are: I'll be damned if this MC book, story doesn't rival Undeniable!!!!!! And that is saying something people!!!!! This story is non stop, action packed, holy shit I can't believe the author went there!, kindle gripping, no sleep having, and never put it down once freaking awesome!!!!!!



First of all lets chat about the main characters, Winter and Braxxon. We meet Winter first while she is trying to figure a way out of doing a job her BFF really wants and needs her help to do.  Winter and Lana, or Star and Hazel, their stage names, are wanted to be the main entertainment at Pyro's motorcycle club Breakneck for the MC president's Birthday celebration. But Winter is hesitant to agree to this side 'job' because she knows that this MC club is too damn close to the life she ran away from, the life of a mafia princess.

I love Winter's character! Holy moly she kicks ass! She is the coolest, most bad ass female character I've ever read! Seriously, this bitch takes a lickin and keeps on ticking! She goes through more shit in two months than any other character has in an entire damn series!!!! She falls down over and over, and as the reader you can only just sit back and watch the carnage as it unfolds.  Every damn gritty, reader wincing, and "Are you effing kidding me!" moment.

Braxxon, I mean Adonis!!! Shiiiat! Can he be any closer to pure unadulterated sex?!?! And damn it if he doesn't have one of my favorite attributes, a mouth with the devil's tongue that spews dirty, dirty delicious words.

This prez of Breakneck, is so complex and deep of a character that by the time I finally got to get inside his head I didn't know if I wanted to kick him in the throat or ride him seven ways to Sunday!!! And then, *sighs* then I got to get inside of his head. I was done, finished, stick a fork in me, hell Braxxon stick something in me ;p  Because I just fell ass over teakettle for you baby!!!!

When you have character's this multi faceted, a kick ass storyline, and bat shit crazy, awesome literal bombs being dropped left and right by an author that drop kicks you on your ass and leaves you on the ground begging for more, you have the recipe to Seize Me, and I'll do anything I can to stay seized.

O.M.G. Holy. Shit.  Are the first 3 words that come to mind when I finished this book.  SO WOW. I mean just fucking wow! My damn mind is in tangles! No, Seriously. Listen TO ME!!! This story will BLOW.YOUR.MIND. WTF?!?! I have not read anything like this! So just picture being in a loveless marriage that really ended 5 years ago but your just going through the motions.  Each of you do your own thing and sleep in separate rooms.  You have no sex life (Ummm I can't even imagine, that's a nightmare in itself).  So you start exploring your sexual desires with a man you meet online and just as you're beginning to accept your new found dark desires, ummmm they become your worst nightmare.  I mean I know your thinking 'Ok Lil' Max that doesn't make any sense' but dammit that's the only way I can describe it without giving it all away.  So after you recover from that shocking reality the desires you have are so strong they draw you to the very thing you’re afraid of, but can you control your desires?  That is the question that Chief Detective Angela Martin has to answer.

Like I said Angela ventures out online and finds something she never thought she would.  Dah da da da....... enter the mystery man (And I mean that in every sense of the word) [Tanner2012'] that's his handle. It's so hard to describe him since everytime they meet she is blind folded.  HOT!!!! I know right! The only thing she CAN tell is that he has a mustache. So for a lack of better terms he Rocks Angela's world, he freaking turns her out. Tanner introduces her BDSM.

Her NEED to experience these desires no matter what the cost, ummmmm pretty much takes over all her common sense. There is a murder case going on that she is smack dab in the middle of and all she can think about is when she can be with HIM again. Hell even if it could potentially threaten her life!!! You're just gonna have to buy now w/ 1 click on this to find out if Angela gives into her desires or if she walks away to save everything she has ever known. 

This book had my heart pounding with desire and anxiety trying to predict what would happen next I swear I was swiping so fast turning the pages I got carpel tunnel in my index finger, lmao.  I gave this 4.5 BadAss-Mysteriously Dark, Hot &DirtyStars-!!!!

Unbreakable by Rebecca Shea

I loved this story, I loved the characters in this story, but most of all I loved the way the author told me this story. I loved every single happy, sad, scary, devastating, painful, and rewarding moment in this story. This story is about happiness and contentment being ripped and stolen away from you, and the strength it takes to learn to crawl before you walk, walk before you run, and run before you can fly.

Jessica is a wonderful lead character, she is strong, smart, and easy to love. Jessica is raised by a pseudo surrogate family that lives across the street, the Garcia's. After her mother passed away when Jessica was four, her Dad's inability to raise his daughter alone goes unnoticed at first. He dives head first into his job pushing and moving his way up the ladder until he is Fire Chief. With Jess's dad always gone, the Garcia's take her in with out hesitation.  Ava Garcia is like the sister Jess never had, and Ava's older brother has always been the one that holds Jess's heart.

Gabe isn't sure when it happened, he just knows he can't hold back his feelings for the beautiful girl that has lived across the street and been apart of his family since forever. He has always loved Jessica, but this isn't a brotherly love anymore. Now he catches himself watching her, wondering if her lips taste as good as they look. After trying to staunch the these new feelings for a year, and with his next semester of school coming up, he knows it's time to make some life changes. He's made them in his mind and heart, but now it's time to let Jessica and his family know he has a change in plans, and every reason behind those changed plans is Jessica. All he needs to know is if she feels the same way.

Gabe and Jessica come together like they are made for one another. Their love is so easy, its so perfect it's unbelievable. They fall into a routine, a routine that both have wanted for a while, not sister and brother, but a routine made for lovers and it has them ingrained so deeply into each other's lives, that they become an extension of each other. They become inseparable, sharing a fairytale love that is an all consuming, whole hearted love that never holds back.
However, when the unthinkable happens and the Unbreakable break, how can you fix the shattered pieces, when even all the pieces don't remain.
Yes, Gabe was made for Jessica, as was Jessica made for Gabe. But with Jessica lost, and unable to find the girl she used to be how can Gabe hold onto her when all she wants is to run the hell away.
Like I said, I absolutely LOVED this story, I swear to you, I read this book QUICK, like half a day quick, kids feed yourselves, leave the house in the ruins of your wake you dirty little monkeys, but whatever you do, leave momma the hell alone, lol. I couldn't put it down! This is definitely THIS SUMMER'S MUST READ!!!!!
