My Soul Keeper blurb:
What if your entire reality changed on you one day?
You wake up and your family and friends aren't who you thought they were.
You look around, and the world isn't what you thought it was.
You don't even recognize yourself.
You and your reality are a complete mystery to you.

Simone's life was about to undergo that disturbing journey. Love, lust, death, betrayal.

How do you fight the devil himself when he consumes you with lust?
How can you love someone who has come to take back your brother’s soul?

Shamar, soul keeper and son of Death, had never met such a unique soul before Simone. Captivated by her, he broke all rules to be near her -- to love and protect her. But how do you protect someone from evil when the forces of good seem to be working against you?

When Lucifer himself crawled from Hell to claim Simone, what sacrifices would Shamar make to keep her safe?

Oh my.... Please please someone tell me there is a follow up book???

I am not normally a huge paranormal fan. I do have a few authors I read faithfully, but paranormal is not at the top of my list. So, when I saw that one of my favorite authors had a paranormal romance coming out, I must admit, I was a little torn. Do I read it? Do I pass it by?

Well, can I just say I am so glad I decided to give this one a go. I struggled to get into it in the beginning, but I pushed forward and ended up greatly rewarded in the end. Because holy moly I want more of this book!!!!

I think a good portion of the reason I did love this one so much is that the story doesnt revolve around the paranormal aspect as much as it does the love connection between Shamar and Simone. There was angst and turmoil without being one of those books that you want to throw your kindle because nothing good ever happens. This one had a fantastic balance between all that was going on and the moments that made you swoon.

And speaking of swooning--- *sigh* Shamar was swoon worthy. I adored him. He was not what I would call "alpha" but at the same time he had a presence about him that puts him as close to alpha as you can get. He knew what he wanted, Simone. And he was not about to let anyone or anything get in his way. He amazed me with his ability to stand down when he needed to, and rose up when called for. He was a friend, a lover and a protector. And he had a love for Simone that every woman hopes for.

Simone was the kind of heroine I love. Strong, independent, opinionated and not afraid to do what she needed to do. She had this amazing ability to turn the other cheek at times I would of punched someone in the face. And with all the stuff that was thrown at her in a short amount of time, I was amazed she didnt break.

Get ready for a crazy ride. Twists and turns. Secrets that are revealed that change the way Simone has to think about her life. What do you do when everything you think about your life turns out to be a lie?

My final thought is that I seriously hope there is a follow up to this book. It is not a cliffhanger but it left me with a book hangover and panting for more.
