Decker Steele had it made...Penthouse apartment, VIP parties, girls on tap. You see, Decker Steele is the Pornography Associations award winning, money making machine. But what does a self-confessed, pussy pounding warrior do when his prized package begins to fail? Freak the 'F' out, that's what!

Andi Jennings is the socially inept, geeky and awkward cousin of Decker's best friend. Only she's not so geeky and awkward anymore. Now she's a smokin' hot country bumpkin, with a smokey voice made for phone sex, and a pair of hot as hell cowboy boots. Everyone adores her, my porn star buddies, my mom and dad, my 'equipment'.

So, the prized package isn't so failing anymore, the catch is, it will only perform for Andi...My friend WITHOUT benefits.

What will the prince of porn do? The girl or the career?

** Reader Warning** - This novel is NOT a dark romance. There are absolutely no whips or floggers, no matter how much Andi wants to smack Decker over the head at times. There are no BDSM slavery themes, unless you can count that Decker is a slave to Andi’s hot cowboy boots and sexy Texan drawl. Decker’s Wood does however feature glitter rain, manscaping, vajazzle, tequila shots, roof-top dancing and one hell of a dick trick!

For Mature Audiences – sexual situations and language which some readers may find offensive

5 of 5 Stars

Every now and again you pick up a book that surprises you. Decker's Wood was one of those books.

I wasnt sure what to expect. I had not read anything by this author before, but I kept hearing good things about it, so I decided to give it a go. And Iam so glad I did.

Decker's Wood is hilarious. Laugh out Loud funny. It was refreshing and different, and that alone made me love it. Add in characters that you cant help but to love and it was a recipe worthy of a blue ribbon.

Decker is a porn star. Caught up in a lifestyle of money and recognition he doesnt feel like his life is missing anything. He has no desire to settle down, and his over confident cocky self, has no plan for the future. When he all of a sudden cant get it up, the world begins to look a little different. What do you do when your money maker wont work??

Enter Andi, wholesome, naive, country girl, with big dreams of making it in New York. She decides to leave her Texas life after her father passes away, and chase her dreams. Owning and running a used book store. When her cousin Bradley asks his friend, Decker - whom they grew up with - to pick her up from the airport, Decker is more than irritated. But, they all grew up together and he feels an obligation to pick up the awkward, non social, weird, gangly, book nerd. HE hasnt seen her in over 10 years. And when he does, and his money maker responds to her, he is left wondering what in the world his problem really is. But what he does know, is that Andi is all grown up. And the awkward teenager has turned into a stunning woman.

Decker's story is one of growing up. Realizing that times shift and change. It's a story of self awareness and self discovery. Where one learns what they really want out of life, and the goodness that can come from growing up. And, I adored Decker. He was totally loveable. With just enough bad boy in him to make you swoon. He was a total trip. And some of his views on life were totally out there.

The "side" characters in this one were fabulous. I loved them just as much as the main ones. Andi's next door neighbors Casey and Lionel are a match made in heaven --- total opposites in so many ways, but totally perfect in all the ways that matter. They were hilarious, and I want to find a set of friends just like them. (Note to author---can they get their own book??? Pretty Please??) And some of the porn stars that Decker worked with were just as interesting. Moaning Mona for instance... just wait till you meet her. And then you have Vanessa the Undresser... yep, you just wait.

This book was fantastic. When you need a book that will make you laugh, this is that book. When you need a book that is a light easy read, this is that book. I finished it in one sitting. I couldnt find a good stop point because all the shenanigans made me overly curious to find out what happened. Decker's Wood will most likely make my top 2014 list -- I loved it that much.

Even though this is a stand alone, I hope that some of the other characters start invading the authors brain and not relent. I would LOVE to see this turn into a series. *sigh
